Lava Lantern Daisies Print Jersey Harlequin Tunic (93554)
Reminiscent of a harlequin because of the bib detailing.
The cut is a flattering smock like silhouette - generous and luxurious - and at 35" long it can be worn as a dress or a tunic.
FAB print in various fabric qualities - here it is in or fab summer weight jersey.
The word daisy comes from the Latin "margarita", which means "pearl". In English, the word "daisy" comes from an old English word and means "eye of the day" because these flowers only open during the day. This iconic flower is so appealing – and this inspired print seems to touch on some of the ancient meanings – note that these have both gold and black centres. The ground has the colours of a classic lava lamp which combines with the daisies into a very pretty high summer print.
(note: the facing on these garments is a generous 2" wide so that it sits flat when worn. We dont stitch it down because it looks classier without top stitching).
